Thankfully, most parts are still available from renault. The original red door is in good condition and will be used.

The shell after sand blasting and a coat of high quality PPG etch primer.

Body mounted to the chassis and panels/doors roughly aligned.

A few areas on the body had to repaired after the blasting, like this small strengthening plate.

Spot welds drilled out and the rust exposed.

Area grinded back to good steel and zinc primer applied.
