Skin removed from the door frame.
DSC00175.jpg
Shot of the new skin and the frame after sand blasting. The frame is badly rotten at the top and bottom.

The transport primer is removed from the inside of the new skin due to its poor adhesion to the steel. A lot of time was spent repairing the frame.

The inside of the both parts are painted with hammerite because it is quite soft and wont crack too much when the edge of the skin is bent around the frame.
DSC00198.jpg
A bead of polyurethane sealant/adhesive is run around the edge of the frame before the skin is hammer and dollied. The passenger side door had the same work carried out.
