Section of the boot skin cut out which exposes the true extent of the corrosion.
Repair to the leading edge of the frame.
Boot finished, all butt welded and ready for paint.
Rear window frame. Only exposed after rear window was removed and all the filler dug out. The first hint was a wet parcel shelf.
A complicated fabrication process was required to repair this area.
All that was left of the original factory floor pans.
Thankfully I was able to save this chassis leg.
Surface rust grinded out, rust converter applied and finally a heavy coat of hammerite.
